10. Maintenance
Carry out the following recurring maintenance work at appropriate intervals
(every 5 years at the latest).

Check all screw connections and the valve for moisture. If necessary,
retighten screw connections or replace defective components.

Check the setting of the protection height.

Carry out a functional check.
Functional check
A leak is simulated at the lowest point of the suction pipe. To do this,
detach the supply hose from the burner pump and hold the end of the
hose at the level of the lowest point of the suction pipe (e.g. lower
edge of the filter cup). Only a few drops should spill out. If more
heating oil leaks out, see section 9 on page 42. Then reassemble the
connection.
