3.7.1.2 Coil and Exciting Circuit Diagnosis (Exciting coil/circuit)
① Click "Diag/Service (T)" from the menu, and select "Exciting coil/circuit" from the list of "Self
diag", then the following window (Fig. 74) will be displayed.
"Iref" ... Voltage at detector point Iref

② Diagnose coil and exciting circuit for abnormality. Click "Start" to display a message box
(Fig. 75). Click "OK" to start diagnosis.
③ During diagnosis, a message, "Executing self diagnosis now ... " is displayed at the bottom of the
window as shown in Fig. 76. If the diagnosis indicates normal, "Good" is displayed. If the diagnosis
indicates abnormal, "Fail" is displayed.

④ To stop the diagnosis, click "Stop" . A message box (Fig. 77) is displayed. Click "OK" .

⑤ The window before starting diagnosis is displayed. To exit, click "Cancel".
