thesis by shortening it.

5.3 Removal from the prosthetic hand

Removal with re-use of the prosthetic glove

NOTICE! Never heat the prosthetic glove (e.g. with a blow drier or oven).

►

Moisten the prosthetic glove with donning spray.

►

NOTICE! Avoid all excessive force on the fingers (espe
cially the thumb) during the removal process.

Hold the prosthetic glove at the sleeve end and remove.

Removal without re-use of the prosthetic glove

►

NOTICE! Avoid damaging the prosthetic hand during cut
ting.

Cut open the prosthetic glove on the inside.

►

NOTICE! Avoid all excessive force on the fingers (espe
cially the thumb) during the removal process.

Pull the sleeve as far apart as possible and remove the pros
thetic glove.
