TO USE THE DEHYDRATE FUNCTION (SEE FIG. 8)
1. Select desired oven rack position. (See “Positioning Racks” Section)
2. Turn the function knob

to the DEHYDRATE “Deshidratar
”
position.
3. Turn the temperature control knob
“ ”
. Temperature is 90 °C at all times.
4. Turn the timer knob
“ ”
to the desired time. At the end of the cooking
time, a bell signal sounds, and the oven turns off automatically.
5. When dehydration is completed, open door fully and remove food carefully
with oven mitt.
6. Cut ingredients to 0,5 cm to 1 cm thickness, based on water content. If the
ingredient has less water content, cut it in thinner pieces. If the ingredient
has more water content, cut it in thicker pieces.
7. Use the tray as support to place ingredients over wax paper, paraffin
paper, greaseproof paper, parchment paper, or bakery paper.
8. Place tray on the second from the top level, that is, close to the top burner.
9. Please refer to the “Dehydrate and Defrost Chart”. Both ingredient
quantities and dehydration times are approximate, as these can vary
based on water content.
WARNING: Do not leave toaster oven unattended.
TO USE THE DEFROST FUNCTION (SEE FIG. 9)
1. Select desired oven rack position. (See “Positioning Racks” Section)
2. Arrange food on one of the wire racks.
3. Close the oven door.
4. Turn the function knob “ ” to the DEFROST “Descongelar” position.
5. Turn the temperature control knob “ ”. Temperature is 90 °C at all
times.
6. Turn the timer knob “ ” to the desired time. Please refer to the
“Dehydrate and Defrost Chart”.
7. When defrosting is completed, open door fully and remove food
carefully with oven mitt. Always cook food promptly after defrosting.
8. To use the water resulting from the defrosting process, defrost
ingredients in the oven tray or any heat-resistant container, suitable
for baking.
