14. Make sure the equipment’s
parking brake is released and
the transmission is in Neutral.
15. Operate the Winch Control
handle and begin winching the
equipment onto the deck and
into the transport position.
16. Secure the equipment to the
front of the deck. NEVER rely
on the winch to hold the load.
Properly chock the
equipment’s wheels to
prevent it from rolling until
the wire rope/cable is under
tension.
Always winch the equipment onto the deck. Never drive equipment onto
the deck.
Remain clear of the load while winching. Never walk between the winch
and its load when the winch and wire rope/cable is under tension.
There is no need to access the
equipment once it is loaded
on the deck. NEVER walk or
climb on the deck surface.
Make sure that the equipment
is centered side to side.
