4.4. Front button (B1)
The
ekor
.bat-200 charger has a button for the following
actions.
• In total disconnection state. In other words, with charger
off, without alternating voltage input and batteries
connected. If the button is pressed for 5 seconds, the
unit starts up from batteries, provided battery voltage
has an admissible value greater than the minimum
parameterised.
• With the unit running at constant voltage or floating,
the system carries out a battery reconnection in order
to check they are connected whenever the button is
pressed for more than 3 seconds. If there is a battery
connected, the charge process continues and the
battery test failure alarm resets if it is enabled. If there
is no battery, the urgent alarm due to non-connected
battery is enabled.
4.5. Earthing
When installing the equipment, it must be checked that it
is duly earthed. It must be ensured that the charger's two
earth points are duly connected.
Firstly, there is a check by initiation to ensure that earthing
has been carried out correctly in the terminal block. See
section 4.1 for the position of the earth terminal in the
terminal blocks.
It is then confirmed that the earth connection for the chassis
has been carried out correctly. The image below shows the
location of the earth connection.
