Registering Additional Handsets
A maximum number of 6 handsets can be Registered to a single Orchid Base Station. Only
Orchid LR4600, LR8600 and LR9600 series handsets can be registered to the LR8610 and
LR8620T Base Stations.
If you have purchased a Twin (Duo) pack or Triple (Trio) pack all the handsets will If you have purchased a Twin (Duo) pack or Triple (Trio) pack all the handsets will
have been Pre-registered to the Base Station. have been Pre-registered to the Base Station.
If sometime in the future you need to add an additional handset, the new handset
registration procedure is simple and as follows:-
1) First charge the ‘new’ additional handset for 12 hours.
2) When charged Press and Hold the PAGE button on the Base Station, release it
when the Red LED (light) on the base station has flashed five times until the green LED
(light) comes on. Then release the PAGE button.
3) Now press and hold the intercom (INT) key on the new additional handset for
approximately 5 seconds until “Register New” is displayed on the handsets screen.
4) Then press and release the ‘OK’ soft key for the registration process to complete.
5) The New handset will ‘bleep’ and the new handsets Extension number will be
displayed on the screen.
