“resuming from” and will continue reading
from that point.
OrCam skipped lines of text
OrCam was unable to recognize the text in some
lines and OrCam has announced there is
“unreadable text”.

Try reading again ensuring that both your
head and the text are held steady while
OrCam recognizes the text.

There may be a glare in the area you are
trying to read from. Try moving to a new
position without a glare so OrCam can
recognize all of the text.

If you are reading from a newspaper it may
be wrinkled. Try laying the paper flat on a
surface so OrCam can recognize all of the
text.
OrCam does not read text
Text is too small for OrCam to read

Hold the text closer to your face so OrCam
can better recognize it.
Can't read text due to poor lighting

If possible, add an additional light source or
move to a place with more lighting.

Ensure that there are no shadows over the
text as OrCam may not be able to recognize
the text.

Ensure that you keep the text stable as
OrCam takes a picture.
Can’t read text as it is too blurry
•
You may be holding the text at an angle
that makes it difficult for OrCam to read
the text.
