Adjusting the pipe diameter

The working steps described in chapter 7.4 are the same for all GF 4 versions.

Danger of being injured by rotating slide housing

When switching the motor on, the pipe cutter may revolve around the pipe
automatically.

In their home position, the saw blade or bevel cutter must

not

touch

the pipe!

Before switching the motor on, make sure that the gap between the saw

blade/bevel cutter and the pipe is sufficient and that the pipe is securely
clamped in the vice.

It is recommended to support pipes with a length of more than 1 m (39.37 inch)
using the pipe feeder base unit or the optional unit (code-no. 790 068 061, both
special accessories).
