Add and configure a Direct Connection for Windows 7.

Go to the Control Panel. Find the Mo-
dem applet. This is normally under the
Phone

and

Modem

section.

Click on it to start the Phone and Mo-
dem applet.

In the Phone and Modem applet, click on
the Modems tab and click “Add.”

You  need  administrator's  rights
to  do  this.  If  UAC  comes  up,
provide the relevant credentials
and proceed.
