SPECIAL INFORMATION

The appliance may be used by children aged 8 and up and per-
sons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or a
lack of experience and know-how, provided that they are super-
vised or they have been instructed on how to use the appliance
safely and have understood the resulting risks. Children must
never play with the appliance. Children must never clean the ap-
pliance or perform user maintenance unless they are supervised.

Ensure the appliance can be separated from the power supply by
an isolator that disconnects all poles with at least 3 mm contact
separation.

The power cable must only be replaced (for example if damaged)
with the original spare part by a qualified contractor authorised by
the manufacturer.

Never connect the appliance via a time switch. This will prevent
the high limit safety cut-out from inadvertently resetting itself in
the case of a fault.

Fix the appliance in position as described in chapter "Installation".

During heating, expansion water drips through the outlet of the
faucet.

Only install faucets suitable for open vented (non-pressurised)
water heaters.

Do not subject the water heater to pressure.

Observe the maximum pressure (see chapter "Specification /
Data table").

The faucet outlet has a ventilation function. Scale build-up can
block the outlet and thus subject the appliance to pressure.

Never seal the faucet outlet.

Only use special aerators for non-pressurised water heaters.

Never extend the faucet outlet with a hose.

Drain the appliance as described in chapter "Maintenance /
Draining the appliance".
