Installation Overview

To quickly install your Sun Flash Accelerator F80 PCIe Card into a system, refer to the

following table:

Steps

Description

Prepare the card for installation. Carefully unpack

the card and inspect it for damage. Follow ESD

precautions.

“Preparing the Card for Installation” on page 19

2.

Prepare the system for service. Turn off the system.

Remove all server power cords. Remove the server

cover.

Refer to the server service manual.

3.

Insert the card in an available PCIe slot.

4.

Secure the bracket to the system's chassis.
