Multiple Oracle ILOM Remote Console sessions on the same
SP can cause the KVMS interface to fail

When multiple Oracle ILOM Remote Console sessions are opened to the same service
processor (SP), the additional session's keyboard interface might not work. The first session's
keyboard interface is not affected.
Affected hardware and software:

Sun Fire X4170 M2 Server

Sun Fire X4270 M2 Server
■
Releases 1.0 through 1.10.1
Workaround:
■
Double-click in the Oracle ILOM Remote Console dialog to activate the mouse, then move
the mouse. OR
■
In the Oracle ILOM Remote Console menu bar, select Devices --> Mouse, then move the
mouse.
SP restore is only partially successful and logs an error
Bug ID 15620790
An SP restore is only partially successful and reports an error in the log. If the serial console is
in use during the restore, properties related to the serial console cannot be restored and you will
receive messages similar to the following:
Config restore: Unable to restore property '/SP/serial/host/commitpending'
Config restore: Unable to restore property '/SP/serial/external'
Because such properties could not be restored
Affected software:

Releases 1.0 through 1.10.1
Workaround:
This is not a defect. Log out of the serial console and try to run the
restore
command again.
