1. GENERAL INFORMATION
The SIDERIS PRINTER plotter is designed for printing with tinsel and colored type of foil, on to
paper, cardboard covers as well as covers covered with a paper veneer. It is also possible to
print on plastic or plastic-coated materials, however a print test must be done first to ensure
the suitability of the material. An additional advantage is that the possibility of printing on the
channel s.
Ask your supplier for details about expanding the device's capabilities. Operating the device
does not require special qualifications however, before starting work with the equipment, read
the user guide.
2. HEALTH AND SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

Before using the equipment, read the Health & Safety instructions, manufacturers recommendations
and operating instructions.
This manual must be kept close to the equipment so the operator can use it at any time, should there
be any doubts regarding safety or operation of the device.
• Place the equipment on a stable and solid surface.
• The device is intended for indoor use only in normal humid conditions.
• Protect the device against moisture and dust.
• Do not place the device near heating or ventilation devices.
• Do not use the device near flammable gases or liquids.
• The device can only be powered by the original power cord.
• Power supply voltage must comply with the parameters specified on the plate located on the
housing. Failure to do so may result in electric shock and fire.
• Protect the device's power cable from damage. Do not use the cable to carry the device or
pull the plug out of the socket.
• There is a risk of an electric shock and fire if the power supply for the system or power cord
is changed.
• The device is completely disconnected from the power supply when the plug is removed from
the socket.
• Unplug the device if it is not used for a long time or when it is moved.
• Keep the device out of reach of children.
• Do not use the device for any other purpose than those specified in the operating instructions.
• Check the efficiency of the device. If you notice any irregularities when using it, contact the
service center.
• Always operate the device in accordance within the General Health and Safety at work rules.
• All repairs to the device may only be carried out by an authorized person during the
grantee/warranty period.
• Do not use solvents or petroleum based products to clean the device.
• Be particularly careful during work - a moving element can pull loose clothing or jewelry into
the equipment and cause an injury.
• Do not touch the heating element - risk of burns.
• The device contains a sharp element - be careful - risk of injury .
• The device should not be operated over 2000 meters above the sea level.
