1 HEALTH & SAFETY
• Before operating the equipment, you must read the health & safety instructions, manu-
facturer’s recommendations and the operation manual.
• The user’s guide/manual should be easily available at any time for the operator.
• The equipment should be fitted to the stand supplied and placed on a strong solid
floor, to ensure safe operation.
• We recommend that you screw the base to the floor were possible.
• The equipment should be,
• protected against moisture and dust.
• must not be placed close to heating and ventilating units.
• must not be used close to flammable gases and liquids.
• must be supplied power through the original cable which must be protected against damage.
• not be used to move the equipment or to pull the plug from the socket.
• when using, do not touch the heater head - Danger Burn Hazard!
• do not use the equipment for any other purposes other than those described in the
operating instructions.
• must be supplied with power through the original cable connected to a correctly
earthed power socket.
• a power socket should be provided, in accordance with electrical and earthing regulations.
• the supply voltage should be the same as on the technical label on the back and speci-
fications in the technical data sheet. Failure to do so may result in a electrical shock or
fire and cancel the guarantee.
• Making any changes to the electrical system or power supply cable could cause
a FIRE HAZARD or electric shock plus cancel the guarantee.
• Before replacing the 8-amp fuse which protects the electrical system, remove the plug from
the power socket, which is next to the power-switch on the back of the equipment.
• It may be necessary to change a fuse on the internal power supply board contact the service
team or a qualified electrician.
• If the old fuse is burnt and the NEW fuse goes again, CALL THE SERVICE.
