Flag
Each pixel of the detector array emits its individual signal level depending on the ambient temperature. In order
to calculate these individual levels the detector has to be exposed to a surface with a homogenous
temperature. Therefore a shutter (or flag) is released in regular intervals.
The flag can be also used to protect the detector from potentially dangerous radiation (for example laser
radiation).
Flag function (shutter) can be also
operated with the tool bar button
Note: This function is not available
if the flag is externally controlled
via process interface input
