contrast ring 1(in condenser) have
been moved into optical path.

Observing by centering
telescope,adjust two centering
adjustment screws in figure 26
with 1.5mm hexagonal screw until
the
centers of two phase contrast rings
overlap.

The ways above are suitable for
phase contrast objectives with
various ratio.

If the phase contrast rings are
not accurately centered,the best
effect
of
phase
contrast
observation will not be obtained.
★
Phase contrast ring may have
deviation after moving or changing
a thicker sample.If so,the steps
above are needed to adjust until the
centers of two phase contrast rings
overlap.
★
If the glass slide or vessel is not
flat,to achieve greater contrast,the
steps above are also needed to
adjust,until the centers of two
phase contrast rings overlap.
