knob in the direction labeled “TIGHT,” that is, clockwise. This operation
will make the pin to expand so to have a stable coupling.
Caution
avoid expanding the pin when it is not completely the hole, in
order not to stress its expander.

With the Base turned off, insert the end of the cable from the
videokeratoscope (Figure 3, part A) in its circular socket on the back of
the Base itself, paying extremely careful attention to the alignment
marks.

3. Connect the footswitch to the Base (Fig. 2)
4. Connect the PC to the videokeratoscope by inserting the connector B in
the PC’s USB port, and then turn on the
Base
.
Caution use only PC having an insulation class II of EN 60950 (shortly
represented with the symbol ), i.e.: compliant EN 60601-1 standard,
otherwise plug your PC to a mains outlet which is separated by the
mains outlet where the Base is plugged.
