Calibration

Immerse the sensor in distilled water or ion-exchange water and adjust the
measurement value to the reference value (zero).

If bubbles are present, perform “Manual cleaning” P.30 to remove
bubbles.

Perform calibration before using the sensor or after cleaning.
Distilled or deionized water is required.

To calibrate SC-U1, press

The sensor selection display is displayed.

Press

Clean the sensor's main unit and detection window.

Allow the sensor to acclimate to the water temperature for
about 5 minutes, and check that there are no bubbles in the
detection window.

Immerse the sensor in distilled
water or ion-exchange water.

Caution

Pressing

automatically retains the measurement value.

Caution

Before calibrating the sensor, be sure to clean the sensor
body and detection window before immersing the sensor
in distilled or deionized water.

・

If neither distilled water nor deionized water is available,
tap water without rust/turbidity can be used instead.
