The duplex high-speed port on the 9482DT and 9482DR is a synchronous RS422 duplex port operating at 15
Mbps. It may be used as an RS422 port asynchronously at 1.5 mbps. Its primary purpose is to provide the
I/O port for accessory modules that can add additional data, audio, contact closure, or Ethernet connections
to the existing video and data channels already on the 9482D cards. Refer to the catalog or call TKH Security
USA for more details on the availability of options for this port. The RJ45 Cat5 cable connected to this port
should not exceed 1.3 meters (4 feet) in length.
