Operating principle
: slide the safety valve sensor into the shaft in the upper rear part of the boiler
where it monitors water temperature in the boiler. If the temperature reaches 95°C (TS 130) or 97°C
(STS 20), the valve automatically begins to open and lets water into the built-in safety exchanger,
which collects heat and prevents overheating of the boiler. When the water in the boiler cools down,
the valve automatically begins to close until it completely stops the intake of cold water into the
safety exchanger. This activity can be repeated several times – depends on the volume of fuel in the
feeding shaft, respectively on the duration of a reduced consumption of heat by the heating system.
- the discharging safety valve needs to be always connected to the water input of the cooling loop in
order to protect the cooling loop against permanent pressure of service water;
- if you do not comply with the recommended connection of the cooling loop to the boiler in
accordance with the operating manual, the cooling loop could be exposed to excessive pressure and
a leak could occur; the warranty does not apply to cooling loop damaged in the manner;
- in order for the valve to work properly, the valve shall be connected to a permanent source of
cooling water with a pressure of at least 2 bars (ideally a public water main) and temperature of
about 15°C;
- correct function of the valve shall be inspected at least once a year;
- if you are not sure how to connect the cooling loop, contact our serviceman at the following
telephone numbers: 571 675 252 or 602 743 970.
10.8 SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE WATER HEATER OPERATION
From the perspective of operational safety and economy, the appliance shall be operated in
accordance with the instructions stated in this manual
.
The boiler can be left unsupervised under the condition that its output is set in a way as tome make
sure the the system cannot overheat (limited operation) or if it is equipped with a functional and
configured combustion air draft regulator. Nevertheless, the operating personnel shall inspect the
boiler from time to time anyway.
ATTENTION!!! Under operation, some parts of the boiler (stoking, cleaning and ash
doors, flue) can be hot and touching these parts may result in burning. That is why
you need to use the protective oven mitt, which forms a part of the accessories.
The boiler can be operated only by adults acquainted with this manual.
Children shall not be left unsupervised nearby the appliance.
