Take the selector corresponding to the pipe diameter and fit it into the seat provided
(fig. 2, pos. 1). All selectors are marked with the corresponding pipe diameter.

Before starting prefitting operations read the following sections carefully:

PREPARING THE MACHINE
Make sure that the pipe to be prefitted has been thoroughly deburred inside
and out.
1. Prepare the machine as described in the
“Preparing the machine”
section and fit the
nut and ring onto the pipe.
2. Position the pipe as shown in figure 2 – pos. 4, ensuring that it is resting against the
bush.
3. Keep the pipe pressing lightly against the bush, Close the mobile guard (Fig. 1, Pos.
8) and keep the
cycle start
button pressed down (Fig. 1, Pos. 9)
4. Check the pressure indicated by the air pressure gauge and release the cycle start
button as soon as the pressure on which the machine is pre-set is reached. Wait for
the rod to return automatically and remove the pipe; the ring will have been firmly
fitted.
