Receiving a Test Ack Call

3. Press [▲] or [▼] to select a desired pre-programmed individual
address, then press [ENT].
4. Channel 70 is automatically selected and “READY” appears in the
channel comment display.
5. Press [ENT] to transmit the Test Ack call, then return to normal
operation.
When a Test Acknowledgement call is received:
1. “DSC” appears and “RCV TEST ACK” scrolls in the channel
comment display.
2. The beeps sound. Press [CLR] to stop the beeps.
3. Press [ENT] to reply the call, or press [CLR] to ignore the call.
The transceiver automatically stores up to 20 distress messages and
20 other messages. The messages can be used as an assistance to
the logbook.
1. Press [MENU] to enter the DSC menu.
2. Press [▲] or [▼] to select “DSC LOG”, then press [ENT].
3. Press [▲] or [▼] to select “DISTRESS”, then press [ENT].
4. Press [▲] or [▼] to select a desired message, then press [ENT].
“ ” appears when the unread messages is selected.
