Settings for Recording—Continued
You can adjust the recording level for better recording quality.
This operation is available during Synchro recording and Signal recording. You cannot adjust the recording level
during CD dubbing with DLA LINK or during double-speed dubbing. Play the recording source, and perform the
steps below during in record Standby mode. You can adjust the level for analog and digital recording respectively.
• You can execute this function only when the input source is CD and the unit is stopped.
This operation is available for Synchro recording and Signal Synchro recording. Make sure that the unit is not
placed in Repeat or Random playback mode.
Adjusting the recording level

Press
EDIT
/NO/CLEAR and turn MULTI JOG to display “Rec Level?” (record-
ing level).

Press MULTI JOG.

Turn MULTI JOG to adjust the recording level.

Press MULTI JOG.
“Complete” appears on the display. You have now completed the setting.
Selecting digital or analog recording from CD to MD

Adjust the level so that the “OVER”
indicator will not light up.
You can adjust the level between –

dB and –18dB, by
0.5dB within the range of –12.5dB and +18.0dB, by 2.5dB
within the range of –12.5dB and –30dB, and by 5.0dB
steps within the range of –30dB and –60dB.
