There is a possibility to access the UDgateway console port through a serial port which
can be used when network connectivity has been lost or when your datacenter has
been equipped for monitoring through serial connections (either directly or via a
modem).
Note
: The UDgateway serial port default configuration parameters are:
- Baud rate: 115200
- Data Bits: 8

- Stop bits: 1
- Flow control: None
Rack mounting of the UDgateway
3.4.2.4.
Decide on a suitable location for the rack unit that will hold your UDgateway. It should
be situated in a clean, dust-free area that is well ventilated. Avoid areas where heat,
electrical noise and electromagnetic fields are generated. You will also need it placed
near a grounded power outlet.
More details about the rack mounting, are available on the HP Documentation CD
provided with the UDgateway
