5.3. Panel PC Integration
The MP1200/MP1500 system comes with a versatile stand composing of one big pedestal and one set
of cable management covers. The following figure illustrates the steps to make up the stand.
1. Insert the two hinges (1) to the hinge cover (2).
Please note that the two hinges are different. The
left hinge comes with a lock which is to be used to fix the hinge knob.
2. Put a hinge bracket (3) to the top of the two hinges. Retain the two hinges (1) to the hinge bracket
(3) with three FMS M4*8 screws for each.
3. Retain the hinge bracket (3) to the hinge cover (2) with four FMS 3*5 screws.
4. Retain a plastic bracket cover (4) to the hinge set with two PMS M3*6 screws.
5. Attach the base module to the metal base plate (5). Retain the metal plate to the hinge set and the
base cover with four FMS M4*6 screws and nine FMS M3*5 screws, respectively. Note that there
are two avocado-shape holes on the metal base. The two avocado holes are used to fix the stand
to the table for special application.
6. Insert the stand bottom cover (6) to the hinge module and fix them together with four PMS M3*6
screws.
7. Retain the stand upper cover (7) to the base module to a base knob (8).
8. Attach rubber pads to the screws at the bottom side of the pedestal metal plate (5). The rubber
pads are to prevent the metal plate from scratching the table when the panel PC is for desktop
use.
To assemble the pedestal set to the panel PC, simply retain them together with four PMS M4*18
screws from the base. Then, fix the stand upper cover (7) to the panel PC with two PMS M3*6 screws.
The stand can be tilted from 45 to 90
0
by swiveling the base knob (8) and pulling the base up and
down.
