Display Functions of Interface card LEDs  

1.

 

Link width mode display LED indicator s .   

 

D404:x1 
D403: x2 
D402: x4 
D401: x8 
D400: x16 
 
 
 
 
If the LEDs are lit solid, then it is a gen 3 link.  If not the alternate display will be activated. 

2.

 

Phase equalization mode.   

D400: will not be lit. 
D401: Phase equalization complete. 
D402: Phase 3 successful. 
D403: Phase 2 successful. 
D404: Phase 1 successful. 
 
For any link below gen 3, the display will alternate between these two.  A 75% on 25% off duty cycle indicates a gen 2 link whereas a 25% on
