ExpressBox 3200 | 2 Hardware Installation

NOTE

If you plug in a x16 PCIe card, it will run at x8 because the OSS PCIe slot is electrically wired as x8 lane.

The PCIe slots on the EB3200 expansion chassis are predefined, lanes are not shared amongst PCIe slots, and each slot runs at x8 mode. The
OSS Host interface card is x16, but it is rated to run at x8 with this particular OSS EB3200 model.

The diagram below represents the speed of PCIe slots that the EB3200 can support.
