6 Operation and maintenance
The regulations and instructions governing operation, maintenance and inspection in accordance
with the valid safety regulations governing elevator construction, such as DIN EN 81: „Safety rules
for the construction and installation of passenger and goods elevators and service elevators“, Part
1: „Electrically operated passenger and goods elevators“, „Technical rules for elevators“ and any
and all relevant rules, regulations and instructions must be observed at all times.
The operator is responsible for the safe installation, inspection and maintenance in accordance
with the applicable elevator regulations and standards.
6.1 Recommended routine maintenance
