“NW-7” menu
You can change the settings of NW-7.
When you select “NW-7”, the following dialog box appears.

You can specify whether or not to permit for reading NW-7.

You can select the desired transfer format of Start/Stop characters.
Select one from “Not transfer ST/SP”, “Transfer ST/SP (ABCD/TN*E)”, “Transfer ST/SP
(abcd/tn*e)”, “Transfer ST/SP (ABCD/ABCD)”, “Transfer ST/SP (abcd/abcd)”, and “Transfer
ST/SP (DC1 DC2 DC3 DC4)”.

You can select whether or not to enable a check digit. You can select Modulo 16 check digit.

You can select whether or not to transfer a check digit appended to the bar code.
! CAUTION !
The Setup Program recognizes the last digit of bar code data as a check digit regardless of
whether or not a check digit is appended to it. Thus, to read a bar code having no check digits
assigned, select “Transfer C/D”.
