Genre
: When search by Genre is chosen, you
will be presented with a list of all of the genres
found in the database. Because not every MP3
file has ID3 genre tagging, some titles may not
be displayed in this search. Once you select a
genre from the list, you will be able to browse all
songs within that genre.
Sensitivity

Jogdial Sensitivity

Here you can adjust the sensitivity of the touch-
sensitive jogdial within a range of ±20.
Pitch Bend
[
Pitch Bend Speed
]
Here you can adjust the pitch bend speed for the
buttons PITCH BEND within a range of ± 1 % and
100 %.
Line Setup
[
Display Mode Text Line
]
Here you can select the display mode of the text
line. There are two different display modes
selectable [L1 Mode and L2] as well as the
duration and the running speed.
• Dis: duration (0.5 to 12 sec)
• Run: running speed (50 to 2000 ms)
Sleep Time
[
Sleep Mode
]
The player will automatically step into sleep mode
if no button is actuated in pause or cue mode for a
defined period of time. The display inserts
“SLEEP“. This extends the life of your motor drive
and laser. Press the button CUE or [

], to exit
sleep mode. You can select 5 to 120 minutes. In
the basic setting [No Sleep] the player is always
switched on.

Here you choose among four brightness settings
for the display.
A.Cue Level

Auto Cue Level
]
The sound pressure level for identifying the auto
cue point can be adjusted between -36 dB and
-78 dB.
MIDI CC Type

MIDI CC Type
]
Here you can select the MIDI CC type sent by the
three encoders (FOLDER [
], TRACK [
],
Jogdial).
• REL:
Standard setting for encoders; output of
positive and negative values (ideal for scratching
or search functions).
• ABS:
Standard setting for potentiometers;
output of positive values only (ideal for scrolling
in folders).
• Note:
Standard setting for buttons and switches;
(ideal for on/off commands).
MIDI Setup

MIDI Settings

USB:
In the setting “MIDI“, the player can be
used as MIDI controller. Select the setting “Link“
for USB Link operation with a secondary player.

Channel:
Selects the MIDI channels for player A
and B (1 to 16).
•
SHIFT:
In the setting “HOLD“, the SHIFT
function is permanent. In the setting “SW.“, it is
temporary.
•
JOGOut:
Selects the max. send time when
touching the jogdial (0 to 30 ms).
•
Pulse:
Selects the interval rate of the MIDI send
information when touching the jogdial (1024 or
512).
•
I/O:
In the setting “DIS.“, the MIDI send
information is shown in the display. If the setting
“HIDE” selected, the information is not shown.
•
Edit:
In the setting “ON“, the MIDI Send and
Receive Note can be edited in the menus MIDI
Note and MIDI LED Edit. In the basic setting
“OFF“, the player uses its default values.
•
Name:
You can assign a specific letter to the
player to distinguish it among several units (MIDI
B to H).

Here you can edit the MIDI information generated

Repeat Mode

In the setting “ON“, all titles in the folder selected
will be continuously repeated. Select the setting
“OFF“ for normal play.
Bit rate

]
In the basic setting “Display ON”, the bit rate of
the title selected is shown in the text line as
second information of the ID3 tag. If the setting
“Display OFF” is selected, the bit rate is not
shown.
