SETTING CUE
To quickly jump back to the starting point of the title or to a defined spot, a starting point (cue point) can be
stored temporarily for the button CUE. The cue point will be overwritten with the starting point of the next title
when the next title is reached or when the next title is selected.
Buttons CUE and CUE PLAY

To jump to the starting point of a title, press
the button CUE in pause or play mode.
• The unit stops and returns to the starting
point of the title (cue point) and is in cue
mode.
• The button lights red.
• After jumping to the cue point, playback can
be started with the button
[►
II
].
• Alternatively, you can keep the button CUE
pressed and momentarily play the title. The
display shows
II
.
As soon as you release the
button the unit instantly returns to the cue
point and is in pause mode.

When returning with the button CUE PLAY,
playback will start immediately from the cue
point.
• Shortly press the button several times to
create stutter effects.

To set the cue point during playback at a
different spot of the title, you can use the
button IN to set it “on the fly” or the jogdial to
set it exactly to one frame (1/75 second).
Setting a cue point "on the fly":
Press the
button IN when the desired spot is reached.
• Playback is not interrupted.
• The button flashes repeatedly.
Setting a cue point precisely:
Select the
operating mode Pitch Bend with the button
JOG MODE and set the unit to pause. Then
use the jogdial to go to the precise spot.
After turning, the current spot is constantly
repeated. As soon as playback is started
with the button [►
II
] a new cue point is
memorized (the button CUE flashes
repeatedly).
Jogdial
The jogdial may also be used for returning to the
cue point and momentarily play the title.

Select the operating mode AUTO CUE
SCRATCH for the jogdial with the button
JOG MODE.

When touching the surface of jogdial, the
playback will start immediately from the cue
point.
• The return with the jogdial may be used for
scratch effects.
• Shortly touch the jogdial several times to
create stutter effects.

In pause mode, you can keep touching the
jogdial and momentarily play the title. The
display shows
II
. As soon as you release the
jogdial the unit instantly returns to the cue
point and is in pause mode.
