6.1.11 Port Statistics (PORTSTAT)
The
portstat
command provides the ability to display the port statistics on the switch.
To display the port statistics, use the
portstat
command from the CLI prompt. A list of options is displayed
when the
portstat -h
command is entered.
> portstat -h
Description:
portstat - port statistic configuration
Syntax:
portstat [-h]
portstat -s -p pNum
portstat -clr -p pNum
Switches:
-clr clear port statistics
-h display help information
-p port number, [pNum]: {F1,F2,1..8|mgt1}
-s shows current status

NOTE: Port number selection will vary depending on the model.
The options available using the
portstat
command are shown below.
The
-clr
switch clears the current port statistics.
The
-h
switch displays the help screen presented above. It is static and provides help information for the
specific command.
The
-p
switch selects which port statistic will be displayed.
The
-s
switch displays the selected port statistics.
To display the port statistics for Fiber Port 1, use the
portstat -s -p f1
command.
