6.9.9 DIE UNLOADING
If the press is not equipped with an automatic die release and knockout device, to unload the die, proceed as
follows:

Select the adjustment cycle
?
With the slide at T.D.C. activate the downstroke of the blank holder using the “CUSHION DOWNSTROKE”
button located on the control console (bring the pressure pins just under the work table of the press).

Activate the downstroke of the slide until the die closes.
?
Release the upper part and the lower part of the die.
?
Stop the slide at T.D.C. using the INDUSTRIAL PC.
DANGER: Any operation other than the loading / unloading of pieces carried out inside the danger
zone of the press should only be carried out after the slide safety stop has been operated
correctly.

Withdraw the die from the table of the press using a forklift truck with adequate lifting capacity for the weight
to be lifted.
DANGER: For the correct handling of the die, refer to the operation manual supplied by the
manufacturer of the die and follow the safety instructions contained in it.

Bring the blank-holder to T.D.C. by pressing the “CUSHION UPSTROKE” button situated on the control
console.
?
If necessary remove the pressure pins from the holes in the table.
?
Clean the upper part of the table and the lower part of the slide carefully using a detergent and a lubricant.
