Using Figures 5-1 as a guide, follow these simple instructions to open the
meter:

IMPORTANT:

Turn-off the power and input signals from the unit before

proceeding. Failure to do so may result in injury!

Remove the cover mounting screw that secures the rear protective cover
to the meter, and remove the Rear Protective Cover.

If you are simply wiring the meter–but not checking jumpers or installing
or removing boards–this is as far as the meter needs to be
disassembled. Go to Section 5.2.1.

Remove all wiring connectors from the rear of the meter.

Remove the two thumbnuts that secure the case to the sleeve.

Remove the sleeve completely by sliding it back from the front bezel.
