this example, the 0.200 in. and 0.400 in. steps of an Olympus standard 5-step steel 
calibration test block are used.

If the EPOCH 6LT is set to work in metric units, the calibration process is exactly the 
same, except the entries are in millimeters rather than inches.

To calibrate using a straight beam transducer

1.

Couple the transducer to the 0.200 in. step of the calibration test block.

2.

Adjust the 

Pulser

 and 

Receiver

 settings to create a clean A-scan.

) to open the calibration dialog
