Tip
►
Advantages of Sample Feedback Control Mode are: direct monitoring and active control of sample
temperature and independence from room temperature variations. The disadvantage is that it requires
manual operation for correct placement of the fine gauge thermocouple in a Reference Well.
8.2.1.2
Fan Speed
You can regulate the Fan Speed by setting the Air Flow or the Fan Duty value. Press on Fan Speed icon
(see Figure 27 a).On the first screen (see Figure 27 b), you can change the Air Flow value in the range 35-
100 m3/h. By default, the Air Flow is set at 100 m3/ and the Duty Control function is disabled. The Heating/Cooling
Box has an internal flow sensor that allows regulating the speed of the Air being blown inside the enclosure. An
increased speed allows a quicker start-up and a more uniform thermal distribution inside the enclosure, a low
speed allows instead a smooth operation in applications particularly sensitive to vibrations.

Tip
►
Okolab recommends using the default Air Flow value of 100 m3/h and remaining the Duty Control
feature disabled.
You can activate the Duty Control feature flagging the dedicated box (see Figure 28, a). In Duty Control
mode, you can change the Fan Duty in the range 0
–
100%. The Fan Duty regulates the Fan speed and consequently
the Air Flow. An Air Flow value higher than 100 m3/h can be achieved.
Insert manually the Fan Duty by clicking
+/-
, then press
Save
(see Figure 28, b).
