Standard Cooling value for the Okolab stage in
cubator is ‘A’ automatic refrigeration. To cool the sample at
a temperature lower than the room temperature you can set COOL to 1 value. Please contact the Okolab
service centre to have more details.
Tip
►
•
Programmer Level of the water bath. PGM. Absolutely avoid to memorize and to start a control
temperature from the water bath display by using the Programming functions from the PGM menu.
These programmed operations can generate software conflict.
•
PID controller Parameter of the water bath. The water bath has two heating-cooling controlling
parameters XP and TN. The Okolab system sets automatically them at following default values:
XP=4.5 and TN 15. To change manually those values, please follow the water bath manual.
•
SERIAL INTERFACE. The OKO-TOUCH communicates with the water bath only if the serial
communication interface is RS232 and the baud rate KBD is 9.6.
•
USER CALIBRATION. Do not change the water bath calibration if the user is not a technician with
specific know-how. Changes of the CAL parameters can worse the incubating system performances
in terms of temperature stability. If the calibration parameter CAL is accidentally varied please,
check with a calibrated temperature sensor or a mercury thermometer if the actual water
temperature is the same displayed otherwise contact our service centre.

To maintain proper T-Unit operation over time:
Use a polishing cloth or dry cloth to wipe off dust and dirt.
Never use thinners, benzene, solvents on or near the devices, since these could corrode their surfaces.
To polish the Stage Incubator and the Humidifying Module, if it is present, you can use distilled water
or alcohol
Verify the status of all cables and if some cable is damaged, contact Okolab to receive assistance
Before cleaning the unit, pull out the mains plug.
Water must not be entered in the system.
