LP-1030/LP-1030-MF User's Manual for Basic Printer Operation

Commands Supported by lpd

Up to 10 users can be connected at the same time with lpr, lpq, and lprm.

Command

Function

lpr

Copies a file from the computer to the Printer.

lpq

Outputs the Printer's spool data status to the computer.

lprm

Deletes an unprocessed file already transferred to the Printer.

TIP

Up to 10 users can be connected in 3 protocols: ftp (for data transfer), lpr (lpq,
lprm), and xpt.

xpt (socket I/F)

With LP-1030 xpt, data from up to 10 users can be transferred.
