Table 2.9.2.3 Technical Functions: Setup (11/11)

Determine whether the memory is mainly used for
printing.
This setting is required to rescue the image data that
cannot be stored in the page memory if ACC compres-
sion is carried out during PC/LAN printing.

1) Setting values

Relationships between settings and page memory
capacities are as follows:
ON: 2560 KB
OFF: 1844 KB

Note: When this setting is set to ON, the memory

capacities decreases to 716k bytes.

Set up the encoding JBIG.

Determine whether the lower layer compatibility infor-
mation instracted from the calling side is analyzed.

ON (Analyzed)/OFF(Not analyzed)
