Troubleshooting

<TUR unit errors>

CHCK TUR UNIT STATUS
PRINT? OK/CANCEL

Meaning

The TUR unit is not installed correctly.

Action

Check the following on the TUR unit and install it correctly.
Check that the take-up direction switch is set to the outer take-up
direction.
Check that the TUR unit is completely pushed inside the printer.

<External dryer system errors>

(When printing or preheating starts)

CHECK EXTERNAL DRYER
SYSTEM CONNECTION

Meaning

When printing or preheating started, the external dryer system turned
on but did not start warming up even after waiting for a while.

Action

Check the following.
- The external dryer system is correctly connected to the printer.
- The external dryer system power supply is turned on.
* If you could not solve the problem after checking the above, contact

your dealer or a service representative.

(During printing)

CHECK EXTERNAL DRYER
SYSTEM CONNECTION

Meaning

An external dryer system error was detected during printing.

Action

Check the following.
- The external dryer system is correctly connected to the printer.
- The external dryer system power supply is turned on.
* If you could not solve the problem after checking the above, contact

your dealer or a service representative.

<Extra ionizers errors>

CHECK EXTRA IONIZERS
CONNECTION TO BOARD

Meaning

The extra ionizer connector to the board is not connected properly.

Action

Press any key to clear the error.
If this error occurs, contact your service representative.
However, if you want to continue printing without using the extra
ionizers, change the ionizer setting of the media preset for the currently
used media to

OFF

or

ON

.

Meaning

The connector of the extra ionizer on the carriage right side is not
connected properly.
