Troubleshooting

Select [ Utilities ] from the [ Move ]
menu.

Click on the [ Printer Setup Utility ] tab.

Select the device you want to remove
and click [ Delete ].

Close the [ Printer List ] dialog box.

Uninstall the printer driver by using the
uninstaller.

Updating a Printer Driver
You can update printer drivers.
For Windows PCL Printer Driver
Note
● You must be logged in as an administrator to complete
this procedure.
● Restart the computer before you start removing a driver.

Click on [ Start ] and then select
[ Devices and Printers ].

Right-click the
Your Printer
icon and
select [ Printing preferences ].
If you have installed multiple printer drivers,
select the type of driver you want to update from
[ Printer Properties ].

Click [ About ] in the [ Setup ] tab.

Check the version information and then
click [ X ].

Delete the printer driver you want to
update.
Note
● Delete all the printer drivers of the same type (PCL,
PS, PCL, and XPS printer drivers) to ensure updating.
