Starting your device
Device connection
1 Connect the power cord to the device.
2 Make sure that the On/Off switch is on Off ( O position). Plug the power cord to outlet on the wall .
3 Press the On/Off button to turn on the device (I position).

The following message appears:
Press
OK

When this message appears,
insert the smart card provided with the new toner cartridge as shown on the picture below.

A wait message appears.
The smart card is read.
Remove the smart card from the reader, your machine is ready to print again.
7 The machine is set to English by default. To modify this parameter, refer to the paragraph Setup
the display language , page 21.
Before plugging the power cord, it is
imperative to refer to the Safety/
Warranty/Regulatory booklet.
The outlet should be located close to
the device and be easy to access.
