User manual

Cut the media

When to do

If the media does not have a straight leading strip, you can cut the media at a
right angle from the roll.

Before you begin

Use the key, the key and the 'previous' key to navigate. Use the
'next/select' key to select a menu or a value.

How to cut the media

Press the 'on-line' key to turn the printer off-line.

Open the drawer and feed the media manually until it is 5 cm above the top
drawer.

Close the drawer.

Navigate to 'Media settings' and select this menu.

Navigate to 'Cut media' and select this value.

Open the drawer and remove the scrap of media.

Feed the media until it is visible.

[73] Insert the media

Close the drawer.

Press the 'on-line' key to turn the printer on-line.
