Advanced Configuration

Print Manager Spool

The Hot Directories must be accessible by all services of the PRISMAspool 
server. If those services are configured to run under a customized account, this 
account must also have all access rights to those directories. Use of shared net-
work drive is possible, in this case the Windows Universal Naming Convention 
should be used (no mapped drive).

–

If the same path is specified several times in the configuration, the first occur-
rence is taken into account, the following ones will be ignored with a error event.

After restarting the OspInerface service, it is suggested to check  the event viewer  to detect 
an event  "The HotDir Path "XXX" cannot be started ! Please Check configuration''. 
Reasons for access problem can be (see above) :

–

the path is not accessible by the PRISMAspool services

–

the path is not existing or incomplete

–

the same path is specified twice in the configuration

Don't forget that the OspInterface service must be restarted in order to take into account 
modification of the OspInterface.ini configuration file as well as Hotdir activation as server 
property.
