Quick Start Guide

We understand that you want to get your OCCO up and running right away. While it is
highly advisable (and necessary!) to read the

detailed manual

of the functions and the

user interface before commercial deployments, this quick guide will help you see the
result of OCCO’s work right away after unpacking it.

1.

Safely unwrap, unpack and stand up OCCO.

Make sure to read and follow the

instructions to do it right

, otherwise, you can damage the robot and potentially

injure yourself and others.

Plug in the power cable into AC outlet (120/220v 50/60HZ). Wait until OCCO
software starts up. It takes a couple a minutes after plug in. You should see eyes
on the digital face and live view on the TV screen.

In a well illuminated environment – stand in front of the robot and let it take a
photo of yourself. Great! The picturing taking works, but photos can’t be pushed
to an album in your OCCO Cloud Service until you connect OCCO’s PC to a WiFi
network.

To connect OCCO’s PC to a WiFi network – use the wireless keyboard that came
with your robot (see inside the back pouch of the protective clothing. TV remote
control is also there. You can use it to control the sound volume, but keep TV
turned on when shutting down OCCO so you do not have to turn it on separately
later on).

Turn on the wireless keyboard (ON/OFF switch in the back)

Using the touchpad, move the mouse such that it is on top of the live view
on the screen and double tap the touch pad to minimize the live view that
covers the windows desktop (you can also press Ctrl+M to achieve the
same goal).

Go to “Networks” settings of the Windows PC (bottom right corner of the
windows desktop), and connect the PC to your home or office WiFi
network. Note! Reliable connectivity is important for the end-user
experience. If OCCO cannot connect to the Internet, your users will not be
able to use the OCCO Online album to download, share and print their
photos.

Double tap the live view screen to bring OCCO to the foreground again.

5.

Get the light perfect. It only takes a few minutes, but make sure your Camera and
Flash settings are set properly to allow OCCO capture well-exposed, great-looking
pictures! Read more on how to set up light
