uses T-Mobile network). OCCO is on a 10GB plan, so it will get a fast 4g internet for the first 10GB of
data transfer, falling off to 3g and 2g if the limit is exceeded. Unless OCCO is set to upload all images to
an online album and is used very frequently – this monthly limit will be very hard to reach.
In cases where OCCO is expected to shoots 1000s of images and all photos are being uploaded to an
online album – it is still recommended to use a reliable WiFi network provided by the venue.
To connect OCCO to a WiFi network, follow the steps to exit OCCO’s full screen mode as described under
, and connect the network, like you normally would any other PC
Working with OCCO’s user interface
OCCO has a number of settings that can be changed to fit the needs of a particular scenario or an event.
It is best to pre-configure OCCO ahead of time, prior to deploying it at customer’s location. All changes,
such as the e-mail settings, custom watermarks, etc are preserved between reboots, and will remain in
effect until such time that they are changed again.
There are two ways of accessing OCCO’s user interface to work with OCCO’s settings: using OCCO’s on-
screen UI (User Interface), or using the remote web interface from your Administrative Web UI.
Your OCCO Robot will be provisioned in your administrative UI, which you can access with the username
and password provided to you when you purchase the machine or a service. To access the online service,
log in using your credentials from:
There are many options available in the UI, but most are for advanced use and should never be touched,
unless done in coordination with OCCO technical support. In this document, we describe the most
commonly used settings
Media distribution models
Once OCCO captures photos, there are several methods of distributing them to the end users and/or to
the host of the event/venue. OCCO’s software and cloud service allow you, as an owner of OCCO
configure events, manage albums and the distribution pipeline, including approval and curation of the
public album by the host of the event.
As long as you have an active OCCO Event Media Service subscription, your OCCO machine will upload
the photos it captures to its backend, and give you tools to view, curate, analyze and control how media
is distributed during and after the events.
To access your events, and associated albums, from your OCCO Administration panel
(
) and click “My Events”
There, you can use the user interface to create and configure events, and attach them to one or more of
your OCCO machines. Once an event has been attached to particular OCCO machine, all media produced
from that robot will be uploaded to that event.
From “MyEvents” page you can:
See all events shot by your OCCO
