This system can notify you when it detects motion from any camera by sending you an email
alert. The email alert contains information such as the time that motion was detected and by
which camera. In order to enable the system, you must enter both incoming and outgoing
email addresses and be connected to the internet (see page 52).
The outgoing email server (SMTP server) is responsible for sending out the email notification
to tell users when the system detects motion from any camera (Motion Detection must be
activated).
The incoming email server (Email To) receives the email notification sent from the SMTP server.
The user must have a Gmail account and be able to receive email on mobile devices such as
an iPhone
®
, iPad
®
, iPod Touch
®
or Android
TM
smartphone or tablet.
When you receive an email alert, you can view live video from your an iPhone, iPad, iPod
Touch, Android smartphone or tablet through a downloadable App. Free Apps are available
through the Apple App Store or Google Play. See page 55 for details.
To setup the Email Alerts, perform the following:

Motion Detection must be activated to receive emails.
