The above indications of time are based on the thickness of the raw material
given in the table. Choosing a smaller or higher thickness will affect the
preparation time of the raw material. To give you an example: A roast or a
big slice of beef with a diameter of 7 cm will have a cooking time of at least
5 hours at the wanted temperature. The maximum thickness of a roast or a
big slice of beef, which should be prepared at low temperature, should have a
diameter of 7 cm.
Start cooking
1. When the wanted temperature and cooking time have been set, press the
start/stop button to start heating the water. You will hear a beep sound
when the heating starts.
2. When the set temperature has been reached, the appliance emits 3-5
beeps more to remind you that the vacuum packed raw materials should be
put in the container. The cooking time starts from that point.
3. Open the lid of the appliance and put the vacuum pouch/pouches with raw
materials vertically in the pouch rack. If you want to prepare rather big raw
materials, remove the pouch rack and put the pouch on the grid. Be sure
that the content of the pouch/pouches is below the water surface. Put the
lid back on the appliance.
