VFD (Variable Frequency Drive)________________________________

The VFD is a motor controller that drives an electric motor by varying the
frequency and voltage supplied to the motor.

Settings are preset at the factory, making the VFD ready to operate when
installation of the equipment is complete.

Motors controlled by the VFD include both Gantry Drive motors and both
Rear Brush motors.

Gantry Drive motors change operating direction as well as speed during a
wash cycle while the Rear Brush motors only change operating direction.

The Interface of the VFD has a built in LED display in which both numeric
and alpha-numeric data are displayed.
